“After the death of a family member I found myself in the situation of facing an unexpected balloon payment on an existing mortgage while having tons of debt due. Being self employed, and aggressive with my deductions, things were not looking good. I had reached out to several brokers in my local area, and none were able to help me. It was always the same situation; my debt to income ratio was too high, or they could not verify my source of income due to self employment, etc. I was able to get one offer, at 9% from a lender, but my existing mortgage was only at 4.5% and it would have pushed our mortgage payment up too high for comfort. Things were looking bleak. Then I met Igor Drake. Igor asked me some questions and went to work immediately. It wasn’t long before he had a solution for me. A FHA loan at little under 4%. I told him I didn’t want to pay mortgage insurance unless I had to, and a day later he came back with a conventional offer slightly above 4% thus losing the insurance requirement. Not only was Igor able to find me a rate 5% better than anyone else (quite a feat given my self employment, credit and other issues.) Also the entire process was able to be done online, via email and uploads. Igor basically handled everything and walked us through the entire process. I have already given his name to a few friends and I could not recommend him with any more enthusiasm than I already do. He went above and beyond in making sure my family was taken care of in one of our of most vulnerable times.”
